About Us

Bravo & Bravo Losada has recently celebrated its 50^th birthday and has grown from a single office in Buenos Aires to a significant medium sized firm serving clients throughout Argentina and abroad.

Since commencement the Firm has concentrated on three main endeavors.

Firstly, the recognition of the importance of a personal client relationship based on understanding and trust.

Secondly, in all dealings with clients, the concentration on the practical aspects of matters combining technical knowledge with a realistic understanding of the way clients operate in the business world.

Thirdly, Bravo & Bravo Losada concentrates on offering positive solutions designed to enhance clients activities with a basic philosophy of increasing profitability and enabling them to retain as much as possible as a result of their endeavors.

This is a formula that has worked. In addition, through our active participation in IGAF Worldwide, we can provide service through 400 offices in 80 countries throughout Europe, the United States and principal financial centers of the world.

Acting for many businesses, individuals and fellow professionals, the Practice remains committed to those principles established 50 years ago, namely offering the highest professional standards combined with efficient personal service.

Every client, large and small, deals with a Partner.

This personal involvement has been, and will remain, a key contributor to our successful growth, which, unlike many other firms, has been almost entirely organic. Many of today's Partners started their careers with the Practice, and certain systems are unique to us.

Apart from Partners, our proportion of qualified staff is one of the highest in the profession, this is consistent with our policy of providing a quality service second to none. To meet our demands for the most able staff, we recruit graduates directly from university, and then put them through our own intensive training program.

Our Partners have a wide range of general specialist experience, covering the vast majority of commercial and non-commercial fields. To cater for the ever-increasing needs of clients, we have established specialist departments, to provide a truly comprehensive service.

Services are however only as good as the administration systems that support them. Our Personnel Department works closely with our Training company to cater both for recruitment needs and staff career development. Marketing is handled by a specialist team who are responsible for developing awareness of the Group's activities through brochures, newsletters, public relations and sponsorship. These combine with general office staff and accounts personnel to ensure that the Group can respond fully to client requirements.

Our People

We are firm believers in that the best way to manage an assignment is well is to remember that it always involves the professional reputation of the Firm as a whole and that of each of the team members. The selection and management of the assignment team are critical for any undertaking. Furthermore, whenever a job is under a sound overall management, the level of the individual work done is enhanced.

An assignment can only be accomplished successfully with properly trained people, and therefore our staff members are mainly University graduates with good and relevant on-the job experience. We are confident that our people possess the right professional training, experience and maturity to accomplish the services we propose to provide.

The significance of the objective of a proposal calls for the formation of a solid assignment team. It is therefore vital that its members should possess a diversity of capabilities encompassing both a specific understanding of the technical aspects of their professional work and practical hands-on experience.

For this reason, the assignment team will include professionals who:

	Have carried out audits and special assignments in a variety of privately-owned entities and public entities.
	Are public accountants and have undergone courses including courses on auditing of business entities, manufacturing entities and banks, as well as courses on foreign trade and exchange transactions, international operations, auditing of computer based systems and updating in tax matters.
	Many of them have been advisors or executive members of international entities, government entities or regulatory tax bodies.
	Many of them have been or are involved in the academic field as professors at universities or instructors or lecturers at courses and seminars in their fields of specialization.

We have designated our partner Mr. Eduardo Bravo Losada (Country Managing Partner) to head our people. He will coordinate all the support which our Firm is right now making available to you.

All our partners are graduated Certified Public Accountants, PH.D. and/or Licentiates in Economy (1 University of Rome, Italy), and/or M.B.A. (1 Columbia University, U.S.A., gold medal). They have attended post graduate courses in famous universities and public and private agencies in Argentina and abroad.

All our partners have experience as Professors in the Economy, Law and Engineering Schools of the most prestigious domestic universities (Buenos Aires University, University of Belgrano, University of Morón, University of Salvador, Bank of Boston Foundation, ITBA), in subjects like:

	Costs Accounting,
	Taxes, Financial and Economic Analysis,
	Political Economy,
	Decision Theory,
	Corporate Strategy,
	Production Control and Planning,
	Economic Systems.

Some of these Professors have been promoted to Chief of Department and Dean of Economy and Law Schools.

These Professors have been invited to give courses in foreign Schools in Spain, México, Brazil, Italy, the Inter American Public Management School, etc.

Some of the public posts held are:

	General Director of the A.F.I.P. (our I.R.S.),
	First Vice-President of the National Bank of Development,
	Sub-Secretary of the National Treasury, Management and Tax Policy,
	Domestic Consultant of the World Bank, in charge of the design and execution of the tax collection system of the A.F.I.P.,
	Argentine representatives in missions before multinational agencies: American States Organization, Inter American Development Bank and United Nations,
	Director of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (equivalent to the American Federal Reserve),
	Director of different financial institutions,
	General Director of Auditing and Management – Senate of the Argentine Republic.

Members of the most important argentine and foreign professional organizations: Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies, International Fiscal Association, Institute of Internal Auditors, Committee of Costs Accounting of the Professional Council of Economics Sciences of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentine Institute of University Professors of Cost Accounting, etc.

They have published 6 books and over 170 articles and research studies in the most famous professional publications.
